If you have ever felt worried or embarrassed about asking your Denturist questions, know that you are not alone. Hundreds of patients feel hesitant about getting more information regarding insurance reimbursements, denture costs, or even general questions about the experience.

Curtis Wiebe is an experienced Calgary Denturist who strongly encourages patients to discuss their financial concerns. Don’t be shy – do what is right for your personal needs and, more importantly, for your wallet. You are entitled to get accurate and detailed information that will help you make an informed decision. Getting a new denture or dental implants can represent a significant investment. You should not be reluctant or fearful when requesting more information or clarifications. Beware of denture professionals who try to avoid discussing the topic of denture costs or insurance practices. And don’t be afraid to ask: “What do Dentures cost?”

Below are some helpful questions you may wish to ask your Denture professional:

1. Can you file a claim to my insurance company on my behalf?

Signature 28 Denture Clinic does file insurance claims on your behalf. Our system sends your online claim and your insurance company will acknowledge receipt of your claim. We kindly ask for the payment at our front desk. Your insurance company will thereafter reimburse you (via cheque or any other methods of payment that you’ve agreed to with your insurance provider.)

2. Do you offer financing?

You don’t have to be over-worried about denture costs. Many Denture clinics may choose to offer financing options to their clients. If you are unable to come up with the full amount of the denture product or service, don’t hesitate to inquire about financing options. A large number of patients report using denture financing to make it easier on their wallet. Our clinic gives you the option of paying 50% of the total  fee at the beginning of the treatment. You won’t need to pay the remaining 50% of the total balance until you receive your new denture (usually within 4-5 weeks of the initial consultation.) We will be happy to answer all your questions about how much our dentures cost, financing, and payment options.

3. Is there any follow-up care or schedule at your practice?

This is a very important question. You need to make sure your Denturist is willing to make sure your new denture fits well and you are well-adjusted to your new product. Signature 28’s Denturist will invite you to come for a follow-up appointment within 2 weeks of receiving your new dentures. This second visit will also determine which recare follow-up schedule is most appropriate for your specific needs. Each patient’s individual needs are carefully assessed and taken in consideration. We make sure we can follow-up with you at least once a year.

4. How many years of combined experience does your Denture clinic have?

A good denture clinic has 10+ years of combined experience. Signature 28 Denture Clinic currently has 30+ years of combined experience. We are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in the Denture/ Dental implant industry. Our clinic  has served hundreds of happy Calgary customers and we continue providing outstanding personalized care to our customers.

5. Do you offer warranty on your products and services?

Be sure to ask this important question to your Denturist. Many Denture professionals do not offer warranty on their products. Signature 28 Denture Clinic is incredibly proud of the outstanding workmanship of our products. We offer a 3-month warranty for Standard Dentures and a 1-year warranty for Premium Dentures. The warranty covers defects in workmanship such as denture tooth cracks. We also offer free adjustments if your denture is loose or there are sore spots that need to be examined.

6. What are your methods of payment?

If your dentures cost more than a hundred dollars, you need to know what your payments options are! Most Denturists accept cash and debit. However, credit card payments are not accepted everywhere. Make sure to ask your Denturist about his practice’s methods of payments. Signature 28 accepts cash, debit, VISA, Mastercard, and cheque.
